I thoroughly enjoy printmaking and have taught a variety of methods from including, monoprinting, collagraphs, relief printing, and screen printing to 3 year olds on up to adult. Students are always so fascinated with printmaking almost as if it were magic. Building from basic techniques such as stamping with found objects students can begin to think about shapes and patterns. Working with linoleum cuts students can focus on textures and line. Monoprints are so intriguing for students as they explore colors.

“You should always respect what you are and your culture because if your art is going to mean anything, that is where it comes from.
